Reality |
| |
| As pioneers in Independent
and Assisted Living in the United States over the last 30 years,
ALI continues to capitalize on American experience and expertise
in the development, marketing, operations and sales for retirement
and senior living projects. In 2003, the Independent and Assisted
Living industries in the U.S. accounted for more than 100 billion
dollars annually. Developers are now actively responding to the
growing market of the 78 million baby boomers born from 1946 to
1964. |

| |
|
|
| |
| According to the National Association
of Home Builders, more than 25 percent of the 1.2 million new
homes projected to be built in 2005 will be bought by someone
older than 50. For example, active adult housing accounted for
one-third of the 38,612 homes built in the United States in 2004
by Pulte Homes, compared to only a quarter of its home production
in 2001, hence a 30% increase in building production. ALI's forward
thinking directly contributed to the development of the first
purpose-built active adult community in Europe and, recently,
the first one in Mexico. |
| |
|
|
| For example, Active Living International
consulted with Spain's Sensara Partners, to establish a brand
and product for the active adult second home and retirement market.
We worked with specialist marketing firms in the United States
and Europe to create the Sensara brand, now recognized in important
markets in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Americas. The Sensara
brand is projected to have more than 750 residential units open,
or in development by the end of 2007. |
|
Sensara Benalmádena - developed in the south of Spain for
client Grupo Suite. |
| |
|
 |
CEMEX - formulated a market
study and feasibility analysis for the development of active adult
(50+) housing in Mexico. |
| |
|
 |
Sensara Vallarta
will offer 250 retirement resort homes to North American buyers.
The project resulted from our market study for CEMEX and will
be developed by Sensara Partners. |
