Sensara Benalmádena,
the first purpose-built, active adult retirement community
in Europe opened in 2005. Part passion, part dream Sensara
Benalmádena is now a reality. First envisioned
by David P. Collins of Active Living International while
an executive of a senior housing company in the United
States, Sensara has won numerous awards including Best
Retirement Housing Project in Europe by Home Overseas
Magazine and three platinum awards by the NAHB in 2005.

An age-enhanced community,
at least one of the residents must be over the age of
50.
The tremendous success
of Sensara Benalmádena has led to a second project
in development on Mexico's Pacific Coast, just north of
Puerto Vallarta.
